I have to agree. I had one of these to address an out of control flat worm problem. It took care of them within 2 days. Was a model citizen (or so I thought) until I noticed less feather dusters and small starfish. Then I noticed my cleaner shrimp was gone and I started getting dead shells. Now I guess there could have been another predator - but the issues started when I put him in. Now the biggest problem was getting him out once he was in. Had to remove almost all of the rock and corner him on me side of the tank.

IMO - there are lots of other wrasses that do well in a reef tan. I like the whip fin or the McCoskers. But hey - it is your tank and wo knows, maybe this one will be good.

Hmm thats really weird. I read a ton about them and everyone said they were good to go and then i hear that there not all of a sudden. Not sure what to do now lol. Are you keeping him well fed? I read it needs to be about 3 times a day

Don't have him anymore. I feed once a day right now and all fish seem to be happy and well adjusted.

Like I said, mine could have been a bad one, yours could be a great one. Is there something about this wrasse that you have always wanted one? You could always through in a shrimp and see how he reacts before putting him in your display. That's why hospital tanks are good.

go look at jimmies tank ask him why there are all those dead turbo snail shells... You need to see first hand what a fish does. You can read all day how people claim things are, but you need to see it to believe it. I would personally hate to see you put the fish in your tank and then you regret it. You will see when jimmy reads this tomorrow he will chime in.

Just alked to jimmy so i know what his does. Its not that i want this specific wrasse i just wanted somthing that eats flatworms just in case and this seemed like the best way to go.

ok i need some help so right now i have three profiles all running different variations of the lightning which i created using the osc. section. my problem is this. i have one virtual outlet labeled "Storm" then i have a command in my dads white VDM slot so that when i turn on the Storm outlet it starts the storm1 profile. what i can figure out is how to make all 3 profiles start going when that outlet is turned on rich now this is my code and for some reason it is only running the last one "storm3". any ideas?

    Set off
If Outlet Storm = ON Then storm1
If Outlet Storm = ON Then storm2
If Outlet Storm = ON Then storm3

The reason only storm3 is working is because it starts at the top and the last line has the most priority, so how the apex reads it is
Ok outlet storm is on so I am going to run storm1
wait, I need to run storm two cause that has a higher priority
wait, I need to run storm2 cause that has the higher priority
wait, I need to work on the MASVC Frag event cause that had the highest priority...not lightning on my tank....

this is an incomplete program. according to this, it has fallback off. You need to change this one.

These are pump settings, you need ot be running light settings. They should ramp up and down.

    Ok good

When i copied it i disnt coppy a "set off" at the bottom. Does that fix it?

The ramp section does not allow for a divide by 10 option for the timming. Meaning that the fastest flsh of light i could get would be 1 minute. The pump program allows me to get a flash of 1/10 of a second. They are basically the same thing anyways. All they do is send out a 0 - 10v signal telling the pump/driver how fast or high to turn on.

yes but that is for the AIs that basically does not do anything but send a signal to the AI to tell it to start flashing lights the apex does not control when they flash. my question is how do i get it so when i turn on the storm outlet all 3 of the profiles run under my dads white outlet? like you said derrick rich now the one after is canceling out the previous one so that only the "storm3" profile ends up running. is there a way to code it where all 3 run at the same time?

not that I know of. Let me sit and think about it for a few. What is the goal? run one then another then another program? or all at the same time? You could do and OSC command and run two OSC commands with different intensities. try that and see what happens. The two OSC's might overlap in varying times.

thats the plan the 3 profiles that i have are all OSCs my plan was to have all 3 running at the same time at different brightnesses/times to create what seems like a random lightning storm.
