I found this guy under a frag plug today at work. I have never seen a flatworm like it so I thought I would share some pictures. Anyone know what it is exactly?

Corals get a dip in revive, this guy must have made it through somehow. Thanks for the id, looks like it is some species of Pericelis that eats clams like dfladermaus said.

If I remember correctly, someone left one in a container with one of the common dips, and it lived for DAYS and DAYS... they're pretty tough..

That isn't a good indication of the power of revive. How would you protect
Your tank otherwise? QT? Is there a different type of dip that works better?

Yes. Revive isnt a cure all, neither is coral RX. In fact the two of them are pretty similar. I would say that QT is always the best case if you can do it. Aside from that, aggressive dips and good inspections are key.

I often use sealed containers to QT corals for days at a time in my system, changing out the water a few times a day until Im happy that the coral is safe to put in my tank since my room for QT is very limited. On the flipside, I dont buy many new corals, and when I do they come from known and trusted sources. Even then, I dip aggressively and QT in tank for multiple days.

Plus one on aggressive dipping. But I have always had my doubts. I am a big fan of qt. some great ideas and simple ways of doing it. Most people interprete a complete separate system.
