Found my new favorite fish store.
Stopped by Vivid for the fisrt time today, and I'm in love. The corals are kinda expensive but worth it. I picked up a scripps green staghorn about 3 or 4" and several branches for $20. No more $5 and $9 racks for me. I will save up and go to Vivid from now on.

I like how they carry hard to find and unique pieces, although you pay a premium. Rainbow Pet Store, near Burbank, is also a place to check out.

The only thing I don't like about vivid is that they don't have a nice selection of zoa's.

Make sure to dip corals from them. They have a flatworm problem. Or at least used to.

No matter where you get your coral from you want to dip it.clownfish14 wrote:Make sure to dip corals from them. They have a flatworm problem. Or at least used to.
Isn't vivid the guys that have half the tank lit with LEDs and the other with traditional MHs?

I actually just looked at what came off it and was sitting in the bottom of the bucket. And I found a few things. A couple of copapods and a couple of black string things.

Yeah theres a frag section under T5, LEDs, & MH. I like to look most of the time while I'm in the area. The 800 display was impressive last time around. I have to pass by again.
