Had a nice long hike up into the sierra nevadas today from the trail head up in rock creek canyon near mammoth. I took a couple of pics with my phone before it died and they turned out pretty well so i figured i would post them.

Nice! I was up there last year to hike Mt. Whitney in one day. Great part of California to visit. Did you go camping or stay in a cabin?

Thanks guys! We are up here camping for the 4th. We do it every year for the past like 50 years lol. My whole moms side of the family comes up. We stay at french camp down at the bottom part of rock creek canyon just above toms place.

No I didnt see it there was a bad accident at the casino right before it and we kept seeing firetrucks drive by so I assumed it was because of the accident.
