So I got the best photo of the fish after following him around the tank. He does like to watch us, and comes on our side of the glass, but only when we are a little bit away.

Little bugger wouldn't let me take a good profile shot of him.

And two Frags of zoas, one we found in an eggcrate that feel on the floor, and one from a good friend(who will get the frag back eventually)

Yes, they have a bright center.

clownfish14 wrote:You already cycled the tank? How do you have a fish in there already?
I had cycled rock in my 135. I've been feeding the tank to keep the cycle up. That was part of the reason to not use sand, I didn't want to have to break down those organics too.

Ok cool! Keep your eye on your amonia still though it tends to sneak up even when you think it is already cycled

This is a get me by till we move. When we move, I will reset it up as a softie tank and.the.135 a lps/sps tank. This should be a nice tank for soft stuff.

Once your tank has cycled you do not need an ammonia kit (or should not if you are keeping it up correctly) but when starting a new tank, it is a vital component and necessary to ensure the safety of what you keep inside.

demanding won't get you anywhere. I am hoping to wait a few days before posting one up. The tank is going through the diatome bloom right now, its on the decline, which I am happy with, but its still present. I will try tomorrow, if I get a chance to. Lights are out right now though.

Thanks, I also added moonlights to the canopy. Not because I wanted a "lunar effect" but because they put both of the "moon lights" and the "regular lights on the same driver(IE same plug). That said, the only way to have the whites come on while I am at work is to have my wife switch them on. She gets busy and would forget, so the moon lights that come with the tank would be the only lights on for the day, till I get home. The reason for that is I have the lights(previous moon) come on for an hour so I can enjoy the tank before work. Then I would turn off the brights at 7, and run only the moon lights. Now, the added moons will turn on, for work, then it will be main for the rest of the day Smile

@Paul, I've never seen them before. Its pretty neat! Do they move on their own or did my frag plug break off and just move a half inch...

They are in the Corallimorph family and as such are the go between from anemones to true corals. They are not true corals btw. They do have a bit of motility and can wander off plugs etc similar to an anemone.

Put my chiller on it this morning. The temperature kept rising past 82, and was stressing me out a little bit...
