34G Solana Build - New Reefer / Simi Valley

Hello Socal Reefers!

My name is Jorden and I live in Simi Valley w/ my wife and 2 children. I've always been fasinated by aquariums, especially reef tanks. After speading months reading about other peoples setups and eperiences, I finally took the dive and went with a Solana I found on craigslist.

I'd love to hear any input and look forward to meeting other locals at F.R.A.G later this year. I'm always interested in trading or buying new pieces of coral for the tank.

You can find most the information on club meetings on the home page (which hasn't been updated yet). This month CrustyOldShellback will be hosting the meeting at his palace in Oxnard. It is always a great time to get together and discuss our passion with others that share in the hobby. We always welcome new comers, because by now we all know each others tanks inside and out.

The F.R.A.G swap is December 1st, and is looking like it's going to be a great time. If you make it to the meeting we are going tro be discussing that.

Good or Bad?

I've seen them in my tank before but don't know if its a pest. Its definitely not a majano anemone

they are not pests. its a typical LR hitchhiker. They do not spread very quickly and I believe the are NPS.

I love the Ecoxotic Pro and just added a magenta/blue strip to the setup. However, I just sold it and I'm getting the Radion Gen2 later this week.

Really like your tank .....love how you stacked the rocks ... This is the type of thanks I live looking at that makes me get really excited about building one

The hitchhiker I posted a picture of a few days ago, appears to be, White ball corallimorph AKA Pseudocorynactis anemone.
