Crustys 400g tank
Well since we have a new site, I'll post up some of my new pictures. There's plenty of old ones over on RC.

Re: Crustys 400g tank
I have no lights on the tank. I'm now using the sun thru 3 solar tubes to light the tank. Probably need to change the water again. I'm thinking of adding in some blue LED's to help give it a little more color.
I picked the system up complete 6 years ago. So it's been in my possion in various itterations for 6 years. The guy I got it from had it up and running for about 3 years. It came with some fish as well. They only fish I have left from the originals is the pink tail trigger which is about 9 years old now.
Here's my build thread with plenty of pictures that's on RC. Just copy and paste and add in the www at the front. The new site won't let me link to RC.

Re: Crustys 400g tank
We'll time for a little update. I'm now starting a new phase in the tank and have ordered some new parts (thanks to the Dr Foster/Smith sale). I'll be getting rid of my closed loop and pumps and am replacing them with 10 koralia Evolution 1400 power heads. 8 of them will be controlled by a Wavemaster Pro control system. I've also ordered 3 PAR 38 LED 20K 21W spot lights to install in my solatubes to add some more light.
Unfortunatly it's going to be another month before I'll be able to start the rebuild. I'll take picturs and post as the rebuild starts.

Re: Crustys 400g tank
Yea, I know. But they are replacing a Reeflo Hammerhead and a barracuda pumps on my two closed loops. So I'm going from about 9K GPH to 14K GPH. Don't forget, this is a 400G tank.
