Yucatan trip photos from snorkling

i figured most of you would enjoy some gopro pictures i took while snorkeling the reef and lagoons here in mexico in the Yucatan area. it was super cool seeing all the fish, corals and inverts. specially seeing some fish ive seen at LFS in the wild. makes me want to only buy tank bred livestock so that this doesnt vanish from our oceans.















funny story about these fish. when i went snorkeling down the beach from tulum's mayan pyramid site, these fish found me and kept following me and my pop around. some of them even let me pet them and would swim right under my chest. it was like they were waiting for me to get food lol super cool moments.







this little colony of paly's i believe, i couldnt really get a close look cuz of the current and my family was trying to drag me out of the ocean but they looked really cool and wondered what they would look like under my lighting haha

Wow! What an experience!

My wife and I were just there in July. We had a blast. We snorkeled the playa del Carmen area, xel-ha and maroma beach we did some fishing too. It was incredible. I have some funny stories to share

It was awesome. If any of you are in that area do snorkel any of those areas lido said. Those are the areas I went too. Also yal'kul is a good one as well, it's like a cove with lots of rock work.
