If it's not one thing it's another, I have been battling cyanobacteria for some time now and I really didn't want to treat the tank with antibiotics to remove it, so I turned to Dr Tims products in hopes to get rid of this nasty infestation.
When Luke and I were at one of SFVR club meetings, Dr Tim was there giving a talk about aquarium test kits, but when the floor was open for questions it quickly turned to his products. A question was asked about cyano and apparently he has a schedule of products that claim to get rid of this stuff. Another person in the audiance spoke up and saying that it worked.
So a month and a half, two months later I contact Dr Tim(I know, I like to research and be sure before I jump in to anything) And because he doesn't allow anyone in his lab, I had meet him at the jack in the box in Moorpark
I bought an 8oz bottle of re-fresh and a 32oz bottle of Waste Away. It wasn't cheap, I ended up spending $61 for this stuff.
The schedule that he set for me is 3 separate doses 2 days apart of Re-Fresh at 2.6oz each, then 2 days later start with 1oz of Waste Away and if the tank doesn't cloud up 2 days later increase to 2oz, then 3oz and then oz. I have to clarify but I think at that point I'm adding 4oz a week from here on out.
I'm going to blow the dust off the DSLR and start snapping some pictures.
