Thought I would post up my Red Sea. Nothing special as far as additions - added top off, chiller and mp10. Been a great tank out of the box.

Corals love the stock t5s for growth but not seeing the colors I am used to out of some other t5s.

Yes. But that banner is for my new tank. The Red Sea is good but the other one is "built" for customization...

Are you planning on changing up the t5's? or are they special made for the redsea? Are you planning on staying with a 10-15k look or are you going to swing more towards the 20K spectrum?

I actually have everything to build an LED retro, just have not decided if I want to do it. I like a little more blue in the tank than the Red Sea offers stock so I will either go new T5 and mix it with blue+, aqua blue and a Fiji purple or just put the led in so I can control 5 colors. Giving it another month before I decide to see how the sps react in the frag tank to the led there.

I've heard mixed reviews on the LED's but most people that I've seen that have good luck use a full spectrum set up of LED's. What colors did you use in your LED set up?
