Flexible LED Strips Empty Flexible LED Strips

Post by Sandman Sun Sep 30, 2012 4:09 pm

    Has anyone see these?

I am thinking of using these for my BioCube as actinics to supplement the halide. I have a Phoenix 14k 150w bulb but I want more blue.

This company also makes a Million color strip that is controllable. Check out this video

I am thinking the 9.5" would be more then enough, might be too much. Has anyone had any experience with other waterproof or underwater LED's?

I don't have any strip lights, but have read that those strip lights don't have enough power to penetrate the water. So if its just for you, I would think its ok, if you were trying to add light to your tank(more par), it may not work.

I think the Halide bulb will be plenty for PAR, it's just for looks.

I just installed a Phoenix 14k and I'm not sure I even need the light now. I might want to add some red and green though, just to add to the already good lighting.
