Some times good, some times bad. The live rock I got has some aptasia and another one is covered in mushrooms. Didnt even see that when we picked the out. The one with the shrooms I guess will give a little insight on how the tank is going. The aptasia I don't care if it dies it will get picked off as soon as I get some peppermints in it. Too bad the shrooms rock is to big to put in my other tank.

Hitchickes are usually a good thing. Get rid of the aptasia now or you will regret it later. Take the rock out, scrub the offending area and rise well in a bucket of SW before placing it back in the tank.

If the shroom rock is too big, a hammer and screwdriver work wonders in reducing it to a managable size. Wink
