How do you get rid of micro bubbles with a sump running currently?

Add in a over/under bafle plate before yoru return pump.

Basically you want to seperate your skimmer out put from your return pump section. A couple of baffles will do that. The one for the return pump side should be about 2" off the bottom and high enough so no water goes over it. That way it will keep the bubbles out of teh return pump area.

foam in certail places can work, changing the placement of your skimmer outlet too. take a pic of your set up and post it up. It will give us more to go by.

I like crusty's idea better. Although using a foam sponge will trap detritus and rauise your nitrates and phosphates, you can combat against that by cleaning the sponge often.

I suggested foam and placement since his sump is already going. To add baffles, he would have to take it out clean and dry it, and install them clean again, then put eveything back in. it would be the best thing, but as he sits, its another idea.

    It's a 60 gallon. I'm rigging up a diy overflow right now.

It's a petsmart bottom shelf skimmer. I don't remember the brand.

Its a all-flow American pump. With a Rio 2500 pushing water. Sister if you want to stop by that would be awesome.
