Lightning Maroon Clown (Amazing!)

Remember when misbarred clownfish were the craze, first it was that the clowns white bars weren't shaped normally, and that drew interest. Then other breeders morphs continued to the platnum clownfish to where the majority of the fishes body was all white, and those definitely drew a lot of attention, I've seen those at a LFS for $500 a pair.

Well, are you ready for the next big thing with clowns? Caught near Papua New Guinea this PNG Lightning Maroon Clown is definitely going to be what everyone wants.

Hopefully Matt Pedersen can successfully breed these and eventually get the same lightning pattern from their offspring.

I don't think that I will be able to afford one anytime soon, but I would definitely like to see one in person.

I would love to pick up one of these but they are going to be really expensive!

ohh yeah,

you'll have to wait at least 2-3 years before everyone is breeding them, then the prices may be low enough for us to purchase.

In 2-3 years they might be a cheap as Picasso or Platinums. Blue Zoo will make a killing off these.

they look cool but maroon clowns are pretty aggressive!

very aggressive. maybe they can breed the offspring with a perc and weed out that genetic trait.

Can't wait to see where this industry is in 10 years from now. Hopefully these fish will be a hell of alot more common, along with many others

10 years from now this fish will get free healthcare too! (just kidding)
