24 LED Kit/14 LED Kit From AquaStyle

Wanted to upgrade the lighting on my first nano a 12 gallon nanocube. since then i got a 24 gallon nanocube (still cycling),and a 29 bio cube(not started...trying to decide if i should start or sell it)
I was on the fence about buying the aquastyle kit.
After seeing Reefer87's setup in person I decided to pull the trigger.

I Just placed the order a few mins ago so the wait starts.
What I ordered:
1x:24 LED Dimmable Kit

1x:14 LED Dimmable Kit

2x:Actinic Violet LEDs

2x:
Red LEDs

2x:
Cyan LEDs
---
6x:
80 Degree Lenses

As you can see i ordered 2 red leds, 2 violet, and 2 cyan plus 6 80 degree optics

plan is to take out 3 whites from each kit and add 1 of red,cyan,violet...hopefully for a good color combo...i do like the bluer look.

Cant wait to see some pics. I order the dimmable drivers the other day. Hooked them up and they are a must have.

Very easy to wire as long as you have a soldering iron.

Awesome! Did you end up tweaking the color? Did you figure out the violet color cast?

Yeah I ordered more blues and put them in, hooked up the Uvs on the whites so they will be dimmer than blues.

Nice! i plan to have the red cyan and UV on the white strand so they aren't overpowering.
blues by themselves.

i guess while i wait for them i can map out my layout for the leds on the heat sink.

i was thinking a small cluster of red,cyan,uv in the middle and 2 clusters on both sides of mixed blue and white

this is my first led build...
opinions on placement and ratio?
Blue=Blue Actinic
Yellow/white=!0000k white
Violet=Violet Actinic
Cyan=Cyan
Red=Red
