Going out of town Empty Going out of town

Post by Sandman Thu Dec 22, 2011 10:38 pm

Hello there fellow hobbyists! I will be out of town from Saturday evening through Monday evening. I do not have a automatic feeder, or a controller. I plan to feed the fish early morning on Saturday, then right before I leave. They will go all day Sunday, and half the day Monday without being fed.

Any suggestions? Do I over feed on the last feeding to stuff them or just do normal feedings and let them fast for the day and 1/2?

They should be fine for a day and a half. Don't over feed. They won't eat it all.

They should be fine but I would shorten the light schedule to make their days shorter until you get back

I figured they could probably go without eating, just wanted to make sure.

What does shortening the light cycle do? Does this make them sleep more, less active?
