Well I was down around Hunington Beach and decided I would search Google for fish stores in the area and I found a nice one. It's Southside Tropical fish located right off the PCH in Hunington Beach so I figured I would swing by. Nice selection of corals decently priced and a wide array of fish also decently priced. The best deal I found was the price of live rock. All of it was $4.99/lb. Doesn't matter if its "Premium rock" (as some stores call it to charge $8/lb.) And best of all the employees are incredibly nice.

tons of great stores in OC! Did you pass by Age of Aquariums in Signal Hills, they are right off the 405.

Yeah, OC is filled with awesome stores, socal tropical fish, Age of Aquariums. but the best is amazing aquariums and reefs. Just a stunning shop to go to!
