Hi! I'm Elizabeth!

Hi! I have a Red Sea Max 250 and I live in Camarillo. New to this website. Just found it while reading some other forums. Do you guys have regular meetings? Is the date for the next meeting a typo? (2014). Anyhow, I've had several tanks over the last 10 years but my current is a Red Sea Max 250 with both coral and fish. Had a baby a year and a half ago so I am just now starting to pay closer attention to my tank. She was neglected for awhile due to the newborn, but she managed just fine with water changes and feedings when I could remember. Had a bad red slime issue last week but removed carbon and turned lights off for 2 days and dosed- all seems well now. So, I suppose that's it for now. Excited that there are local reef geeks! My husband is super excited I'm joining a forum, he's into motorcycles and is always on Moto blogs and forums. I'm new to the forum thing and was hoping you guys have in person meetings.

On behalf of MASVC welcome. My name is Sonu, I myself started a tank last year and due to unforeseen circumstances had to shut it down for the time being. There is many good people here that are very knowledgeable and will be able to assist in any way they can.We haven't had a meeting in a while but when they happen they are usually at Toppers Pizza in Camarillo the on 4th Sunday of every month from 4:00pm-6:00pm (subject to change). If you get a chance post some pics of the tank we like pics here.

Hi Sonubhi! Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm trying to post pics of my tank but it says I have 0 free space, but I haven't loaded anything yet. Is this just the standard setting if you're new? How do I get permission to post my pics?

Hi there Elizabeth my names Sean. I'm one of the clubs board members and I would like to welcome you to the club! To post pictures we use photo bucket to link pictures. We are currently working on getting the new website up and running and it will be MUCH more user friendly.
We do have our monthly meetings at toppers in camarillo as Sonu said before. We are always willing to help and give advice and info on anything we can. And I know it's a year and a half late but congrats with the baby

Hi Elizabeth I am Gavin,I just started a 14 gallon biocube and found this form.I don't attend the meetings because I live in Henderson but maybe if you have a small torch we can trade.
