Yup, one tank is Algae Turf Scrubber only, the other has a skimmer + reactors with the ATS. Pro's = best method I have found for controlling Nitrates.. con's = does very little to control Phosphates, which over times really messes up the redfield ratio within a tank. First thing to know when it comes to ATS's, do NOT listen to Santa Monica, he makes outrageous claims of the miracles the ATS can accomplish, 99% are lies and he has been banned repeatedly on RC for trying to force his lies down peoples throats that know much more than he does. I do think they are a beneficial filtration method, but they won't replace other methods, and they certainly won't keep most tanks happy and healthy by themselves (unless you have a soft coral only tank). I think of an ATS as a 'compact refugium on steroids' in regards to algae. A 10"x10" screen can be equivalent to a basketball size ball of chaeto.
