    DIY Lid(s) Empty DIY Lid(s)

    Post by bshow24 Sat Feb 09, 2013 9:35 pm

Alright, so currently on my 8 gallon, I have window screen on it because my clowns pretend like they are in the olympics and high jump out of the aquarium.

The 28 gallon has white egg crate (only color home depot had) and it is very difficult trying to get stuff in the tank when trying to place it.

I am wondering, is there anyone here that is good with glass that can help me make some lids for these aquariums. The 8 gallon is a rimless, so it may be a bit harder, but at the same time I have a 70 watt metal halide over it so the light being diffused by the screen is not really bad for it. On the 28, I have 4x24 watt Nova Extreme and want to try and diffuse as little light as I possibly can. I am not very good with glass and or any other material and I do not want to screw this up a bunch. Let me know!

Also, if anyone has the legs for a Nova Extreme fixture let me know, I would love to get this thing up in the air a bit if I can.

I think BRS sells clear screen netting if I remember correctly. Have heard good things about it.
