hello

Hello all ….I am so glad I found this forum (finally a Ventura county group )

My name is hector and I live in Oxnard ….I don’t currently have a reef tank but I have been wanting to start one for a while now. Looking forward to learning as much as I can to make my reef thrive

I come from a cichlid back ground have been keeping cichlids for about ten years now .anything from Oscars, jack Dempsey’s, and green terrors and even the somewhat controversial flowerhorn ….hope I don’t offend anyone ….I love fish

I am really looking forward on starting my first reef tank and hope its ok to make it out to FRAGS s in December

What size tank are you looking for/have? What type of reef tank do you want(if you know) SPS/LPS/Softie/Fish only?

i was thinking of getting a 20 - 29 gallon tank to start ....not sure what type of corals but it wont be a fish only thats for sure ...my dream reef setup would be a pair of ocellaris clown fish a small group a schooling fish and a puffer but i know the puffer is not likely and lots of corals

Clownfish14 has a 29 gallon nano that he's selling. You should seek him out.

Ya we do that sometimes. Its a smaller club so we all know eachother pretty well. So sometimes we just like to mess with each other
