Low alk

So I have been kind of neglecting my alkalinity thinking my A and B dosing was enough. Well boy was I wrong. I just tested my alk and its at 3.2dkh I see no ill effects in my tank with my coral except the fact I lost my meteor shower but that was more or less from getting stung by my hollywood stunner chalice. I have some alk 8.3 on hand so I added a bunch to my top off water. Good Idea? well we will see. I guess I have also had problems keeping acropora tinnius. I also dosed a little bit of the alk 8.3 and will do every day until I get it where it is needed.

I think you should pull out 20 gallons, and replace it with crustys water, then it will help you both.

Ok so I just tested again after dosing alk 8.3 and I am up to 4.5dkh

Dont raise it more than 1 dkh a day. I make that 1 dkh a week if it were me tho

Yea im done for the day. Im just going to dose my A and B for 2 more days then try and rais it a little more.

If you traded Ray, I would introduce it slowly.

Why trade with me? My Alk is dropping too, just not as fast. But my Calk is what keeps going up without me adding anything.

I think I'm finally down to around 10 Dkh now, which i swhere I want to be. I'll have to check again when I get home.
