Oc clown has swim bladder issue. She is swimming sideways at the surface but eating normal. Just noticed it tonight. All other fish are swimming normal and water params are normal. Any suggestions?

not sure if it's a swim bladder problem. when you say parameters are good what does that mean? what's your ph? do you have a top on your tank or do you allow for gas exchange? when you added the fish to your tank did you do anything special such as qt them or treat them for any thing?

Params good means everything is within ideal ranges. Yes it has a hood on it, for good surface flow I have a hydor rotating deflector. Ph is at 8.2. She has been in the tank almost six months, she was wrest for 4 weeks then acclimated to display tank for 30 mins or so. And I dose garlic with food. I mostly give a frozen gourmet to include brine, mysis, some sort of green leafy things. Very rarely omega 1 flake. I diced up a few peas last night and threw a little in and she seems fine now. Swimming normal and eatting fine. Looks 100% healthy. Last water change was Friday last week.

that's my polite way of saying,"you say the parameters are right but maybe there is something you're overlooking, please post all that you test for."

It's good to read that she is doing fine. keep an eye on her as there me be a parasite or disease that she may be battling with. however clowns are pretty resilient and can handle quite a bit though.

I'm assuming that wrest is a typo.. what word was suppose to be there?

ph was the biggest concern, but it looks spot on. just keep an eye out for anything else out of the ordinary. they are hardy fish so they can handle most hiccups we may encounter in our tanks.
