I have no clue what happened. No signs of ich or any other illness. Just came home from watch to my blue hippo on the sand on its side with no movements. All other fish are okay. Just tested water yesterday. Sg 1.025 Ammonia 0 nitrates 0 nitrites 0 Ph 8.1 dkh 9. The only thing I have done is a pwc 2 days ago and put in a new koralia. I am so sad that my bht died.

Thats very weird, the blue tang is very hardy. My bht passed ich to all the other fish when I almost lost all my fish but bht survived.

Yeah this bht is the second one I lost. Maybe I will go for a yellow or khole. The first one was my fault. Didn't know how to take care of salt fish the first time around especially scale-less fish. Treated with the wrong medication.

I don't recommend having a blue hippo tang in a 60 gallon tank. They're too expensive to have it for a few months and you will eventually sell it because you are moving.

it probably died from stress, being in too small of a tank for too long will eventually kill a fish.

I was thinking that may have been what did it. It being in the 14 gallon for a few months and then in the 60. They should make a dwarf blue hippo. Lol.
