pH range question Empty pH range question

Post by nikecivic Fri Nov 25, 2011 11:53 pm

My tank's pH is roughly between 8.0 and 8.35 and looks like it reflects my tank temperature. The peak is usually when the temperature is at its peak as well. The pH will sometimes dip to 7.9 but is usually always above 8.0. Is this an acceptable range? I am dosing BRS Recipe #1 and it helps to raise the pH in the morning when it is at the bottom range.
