    Camera? Empty Camera?

Post by Luckysfrags Mon Apr 29, 2013 1:11 am

Hey guys I've been looking to buy a camera to take photos of my corals in my tank. I don't need crazy top of the line equipment but then again I don't want some pos. I'm a novice with cameras but I can and will take the time to learn so a camera with a learning curve is ok. I'm mainly looking for a decent camera and a decent macro lense that will be able to take nice photos.
I was wondering if any of you have any info or advice in a camera to look at? Again I have no clue what to get.

Great link! Also just as a heads up, I won't be using a program to touch up any photos I take. I want them to be as true as possible. I've had many many people post a photo of a coral online and when I go to see it in person it just isn't the same coral.

Depending on your phone, it can take good pictures. My old phone used to take awesome macro photos(if I could get it to focus....lol)

I have an iPhone. It's not bad but I want a nice macro shot camera. I hear a lot of buzz about the 60D and the Ti3 and Ti4.

Is it an iPhone 5? If so, google 'iPhone Macro Lens', some of them work quite well.

I was just messing with my canon T3i and taking pics. You have to adj the ISo, white balance , shutter speed ect. Depending on your lights. Before tweaking the settings and leaving it in auto the pictures would come out blue or really dark.
