Room For Rent? Empty Room For Rent?

Post by NanoReefer Mon Apr 30, 2012 11:27 pm

Hey guys, looking to save some money and rent out a room for a few months. anyone here have or know of a room being rented out? I'd like to find something for around 300-400 per month. If the room is big enough I could share too. too much money is going into living cost, need to save a little.

Coming from Dallas, I'm used to 400.00 1 bedroom apartments.. lol. may end up going back if anything.. let me know, thanks.

Craigslist is key, I will say its going to be tough to find a room for that much. I was looking for a while and could not find anything for less than $500 and the wernt very nice either

I was lucky to find a roon in Thousand Oaks for $450 when I just moved to VC from 04-06. Thats a deal compared Oxnard where goingrate is 500+. There are still a few deals if you look around.

man, i've found plenty for 300-350.00. I would just rather room with a friend or someone with the same interest as me.. that's why I came here. but yeah. CL has plenty of affordable spots. I just hate having lived in Texas I always compare renting an apt. to rooms here.. lol drives me insane.
