    I'm an Ohio transplant that is thinking about getting back into the reef hobby.

    Hey guys. I'm in Simi Valley.

    I'm thinking of a cube in the 30-40 gallon range and mostly easy Softies and LPS and a few small fish. I'm looking at the Oceanic biocube and Red Sea Max, and JBJ.

    I had a 400 gallon SPS reef in Ohio, but i had a house and cheap electricity. Here, I'm in an apartments and your rates suck... so a small tank it is...

    Ok not to far just to give you a heads up our two LFS are not the highest in quality. Both would sell you their dirty underware if they could. And in my experience I have had a low survival rate of fish purchased from both stores, and as far as coral they are pretty sad and overpriced.
