Reintroducing myself

I haven't been around here in a while and so I figured I would reintroduce myself. My name is Vince and I live in Oxnard. My name on here used to be vincerules, but I just had to recreate my account and without even paying attention I typed in 805reef as my username, which is also my username on RC.

I have a 180 tank (48x30x30) mixed reef. I had a tank disaster a few months ago and that kind of took some of my passion away from this hobby. I am now trying to get back into it. Most all of my corals died and my tank looks really sucky right now. i need to get some color in there.

So I am going to try to be on here a little more and get involved so that it will keep me motivated to get my tank looking nice and pretty again.

well post up some pics, and specs and maybe somebody here will help you get your colors back(SLP has a lot of knowledge) Welcome back!

That's a good idea, I'll get a new build thread going soon. Gotta get some new pics of my tank.

Good to se eyou back. I know how you feel. Been there done that. But I'm back in the game now, working on some different things with my 400.

Good bunch of guys around here now that DO have some knowledge and seem eager to help. Don't let SLP fool you, he does know a couple of things.

Get some pics up of that tank. Hope to see you around at the meetings. You still over at NRL?

Crusty hit it on the head there are a bunch of guys here that can give you help, SLP is just the "humble" Know it all... He used to sit and search RC all day at his old job. He has a good knowledge bank

Hey Crusty, I am at NFESC not NRL. How is your tank doing with the light tubes? It's been a few months now that you have had them.

I am hoping to catch a club meeting soon, it seems there is more activity on here then I can remember. That's great!

Ok sorry, for some reason I thought I remember you saying you were at NRL.

As for the light tubes, I love the look when the sun is out. I'm just trying now to get my colors back. The browned out when I went to the solar tubes which I hear happens. Time will tell.
