FS: JBJ Rimless 30g tank with stand - new but blemished

I'm selling a brand new JBJ Rimless 30 gallon nano-cube. Description here: http://www.jbjlighting.com/prod-rimless.html

It was damaged in shipping so it has the following issues:

1) The smoked glass divider between the front display area and back sump is cracked. I really don't think this will affect the operation of the tank. Even if water leaks through the cracks it would be very slow compared to the rate of the return pumps. Visually, you can barely see the cracks with the tank dry, so I think they would be basically invisible once your tank is up and running.

2) The edge of one door of the stand is dinged up so it's white-ish instead of black. You could touch it up or live with it.

3) The knob for one door of the stand stripped out. A replacement knob would probably be a couple bucks at home depot.

I'm asking $220 for the aquarium and stand.

By the way, did you get a replacement because it was damaged in shipping? Does it come with a light?

Howdy Paul! Haha the Cali Classic. I'm actually preparing to take that tank down. My aging equipment keeps letting me down so I'm starting from scratch. Also downsizing a bit to match the amount of time I have to devote to the tank these days. I bought a business last year so my free time for water testing and algae scrubbing isn't what it used to be. I'll definitely be coming by FF once the new rig is ready for livestock. Your new (new to me anyway) site looks great. Do you still have your same (was it 180g?) display? The last time I saw that was when you first bought the tank. Must be incredible now.

Mike, to answer your question, I did get a replacement. The vendor filed a claim with UPS and supposedly they were going to come pick the damaged tank up from me, but they never did. So I figured I'd see if anyone wants it, and put the money towards the project. No light included. Just the 2 return pumps.

On that subject, I was thinking of getting a Kessil A350W for my cube. Have you guys had any experience with those?

I hope you guys will forgive me for downsizing to an all-in one =)

John, there are people who are successful with the Kessil units. Check out Unique Corals, they have been using them on their grow out tanks. There is a SFVR holiday party at Unique Corals next month.

I don't have the 180 anymore, just added more tanks to the garage instead.

Site is new this year, had to finally upgrade it and make it useable to the masses.

I actually am running a Kessil A350W tuna blue on a Solana that I have setup and I love it. Great little light with a lot of power. I had started out using an AI nano and it was just junk, the Kessil has outperformed the AI by a mile.
